Hey everyone. I'll be contributing more blog posts next month, mostly in the form of Youtube videos in which I'll discuss more of the research behind the app, and some of the more interesting aspects to consciousness research generally, and some fun speculations about the whole field. But for now, here's where we are in the project...
We've chosen Indiegogo as our crowdfunding platform of choice, and will be launching that campaign in January. Probably between mid-January. We'd deeply appreciate your support for the project--every little bit will help! In the meantime, like us on Facebook or follow us on Twitter to get updates about the launch of the campaign and the progress and availability of the app. Generally the funds will be used for designing the best user experience we can make, developing the app, and building and testing the back-end data collection system, followed by testing and release. This is a HUGE task, and we'll be doing our best to accomplish it within the capabilities of our raising.
One other quick note: we'll be launching iOS first, with an aim toward Android a few months later. However, any funds we raise beyond our goal will put directly toward the Android app release. Cheers,
